This one is for my kids...

Dear kids,
Just in case you start thinking that you didn't get anything for Christmas in 2007, please take a look at the pictures below. In those pictures you will find 138 gifts, gift filled stockings, fruit and candy, and 45 different Christmas cards.
Yes, you are loved and spoiled. You live in a land of excess. We are celebrating the birth of Christ by showering each other with gifts. Kind of strange isn't it? Especially considering that our country is currently in war with folks in the middle east.
Let's all take a moment out of our self centeredness to think about how lucky we are. We could have just as easily been born in a communist country or one of those hate mongering countries. Don't forget to pray to the good Lord tonight and thank Him for everything that you have.
