Pvt. Oliver Chesney
This is my 3rd great-granduncle, Pvt. Oliver Chesney who fought in the Civil War in Company D of Ashby's 2nd Tennessee Cavalry for the Confederate States of America. He is buried in the Sharp-Chesney Cemetery in Union County, TN.

Hi, I'm Tug, it's not my real name, but a name that was given to me by one of my older cousins when I was just a kid. I'll be posting some stories of how things were when I was growing up. I'm doing this in hopes that someday my kids and my grandkids will be able to go back and read about what it was like growing up being just a poor East, TN boy.
